The Amelia presents; Mara Bergman - Seal on the Beach

Mara Bergman is an award-winning poet and children's writer. Snip Snap! won the Stockport Children's Book Award and Oliver Who Travelled Far and Wide won the Booktrust Early Years Award. Oliver Who Would Not Sleep, Glitter Kitty and Itchy Itch Itch have appeared on CBeebies. Mara wrote The Seal on the Beach after rescuing a young seal on the beach at Cromer, in Norfolk. She loves animals and has recently adopted a rescue dog called Whisper.
