Our exciting early years, primary and SEND school programme offers pupils the opportunity to handle real museum objects, explore the Amelia’s diverse collection and share their knowledge.

Our curriculum linked onsite school sessions are 60 – 90 minutes, are free, and can bring your topics to life using object and enquiry-based learning. Explore mystery objects, investigate local history and geography and be inspired to learn more!

We also offer object loan boxes to use in the classroom.

For Nursery or Reception classes, we can offer exciting sessions exploring objects from our collection, as well as storytelling sessions making use of our beautiful Children’s Library.
